Tyler J. Eicholtz, 18, Fargo, ND died January 15, 2003 near Fargo, ND.

Tyler Justin Eicholtz was born October 31, 1984 at Fargo, North Dakota the son of Steven and Lisa (Oxton) Eicholtz. He grew up and attended Longfellow Elementary School, Ben Franklin Junior High School and was a senior at Fargo North High School. He loved baseball all of his life and was a member of the Fargo North Spartans Baseball Team. Tyler enjoyed the outdoors in many ways, including hunting, baseball, 4-wheeling, and snowmobiling. He was a great fan to many of his friends, both boys and girls, on the many North High Teams. Tyler was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and was confirmed in the fall of 2000.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Steven and Lisa Eicholtz, Fargo, ND; sister, Erin Eicholtz, Fargo, ND; close dear friend, Cara McClean, Fargo, ND; grandparents, Kent and Bonnie Eicholtz, Fargo, ND; and Rodney and JoAnn Oxton, Fargo, ND; aunts and uncles, Sheryl Eicholtz-Landis, Grand Forks, ND; Peggy Eicholtz, Fargo, ND; David and Ranae Oxton, McVille, ND; Steven and Judy Oxton, Moorhead, MN; John and Julene Oxton, Lakeville, MN; cousins, Tracy and Russell Landis, Grand Forks, ND; Leigh and Amy Oxton, McVille, ND; Adrian and Rory Oxton, Moorhead, MN; Jayce Oxton, St. Paul, MN; Jesse Olson, Moorhead, MN; Darren, Megan, and Joel Oxton, Lakeville, MN; as well as many dear friends, classmates, teachers, and outdoor buddies. He was preceded in death by an uncle, Jim Eicholtz, and a cousin, Kyle Landis.
